Irbid National University (Arabic: جامعة إربد الاهلية‎, also abbreviated INU) is a university in Jordan. It was established in 1994. Located in the northern town of Irbid, it has a student body of roughly 6,000.

Library Department

Library was established in 1994 with a total area of ​​$ (4614) square meters, consists of the Division of supply and indexing, classification, reference and loan of the Division and the Division of periodicals and the direction and guidance.

The library includes about 70,000 books and about (40,000) titles, and (5000) reference library includes also (170) Journal of Arab and foreign paper, and the library subscribes to (22) base e with Alapesco as the number of staff in the library (7) staff , including (6) specialize in the science libraries, and are provided with faculties and departments informed of new books, periodicals and magazines to choose the right ones and work to provide and use the library package of software (SQL Server) and for the storage and retrieval of information in the operations indexing, classification and loan and Returns for the construction of all the various databases in the library, and there in the library of the university research laboratory equipped with thirty computers, in addition to (26) distributed throughout a library for use by students and staff in the search for sources of knowledge.
